  7. WHAT THIS IS:

  9.  This is an upgrade version of our Atapi PnP demo device driver, with a
  10.  lot of new features .
  11.  
  12. VERSION: 3.6 demo (last public demo version was 3.0 )

  15. HOW TO INSTALL:
  16.  
  17.  Please note that the archive "AtapiPnP300.lha" (from Aminet /disk/cdrom)
  18.  must be installed .
  19.  
  20.  If you are using another atapi device driver , be sure that it is
  21.  not active (i.e. comment it in the startup batch and/or move it from
  22.  Devs/Dosdrivers into Storage/Dosdrivers ) .

  24.  simple put the file "cd.device" into devs: . If you have already a registered
  25.  cd.device store it in a safe place .

  28.  You can save the two utilities AtapiCheck and CdChanger where you prefer.

  36.                - bug fixed for wich the device crashes the system after the
  37.                  1 h test and by a NscmdQuerry call
  38.                - big-bug by the subchannel read code fixed . It was the cause
  39.                  for many audio play problems. (I'm sorry )
  40.                - better atapi recognizon
  41.                - some minor bugs fixed
  42.                - more transfer speed
  43.                - CD_READ for 2328 bytes of sector size support added
  44.  
  45.                - Complete Atapi Cd Changers support (like the Nec 4x4)
  46.                  with new commands

  48.                - A4000 Tower is now supported
  49.                - rewritten for compliance with the SFF-8020 v2.6 standard
  50.  
  51.                - added a new async play position polling function
  52.                  ( will be usefull for some new audio players )

  55.  CdChanger :   - for swapping the CDs in a Cd Changer
  56.                - usefull only for owners of the Nec 4x4 , 7x4 or similar
